Phoenix inverter - Not powering the VE.Direct Bluetooth Dongle

Just setting up a phoenix inverter 24|800. It's working just fine and Inverting like a champ. So I am trying to add a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle. This dongle does not power up (no lights) what plugging it into the phoenix. To test I plugged the dongle into the MPPT 100|20 it lite up and was seen just fine, and I updated the firmware. Still no lights when I plug it into the phoenix


So my question is what am I'm doing wrong when trying to add this to the inverter?

Hi @Dan Markham

It sounds like a hardware problem with the VE.Direct connector on the Phoenix Inverter. Can you check the pins whether they not bent?

When everything looks ok, I would advice you to contact the seller to have it replaced under warranty.

With just a little bend on the pins it now stays connected perfectly.
