Charging the batteries with the generator, used to take about 2 hrs when batteries were drained... Now it charges 20 - 25 min and the yellow light starts blinking.. Indicating the batteries are fully charged.. What is the solution to the problem?

It's possible your batteries are no longer absorbing as much charge anymore.
You may wish to perform a battery capacity test, and monitor individual cell voltages. Also check all connections are good and without corrosion.
