Can One Use VICTRON BUSBAR 600A 8P As an AC Busbar? What are the AC Voltage and Current ratings of this busbar which is normally used for DC?
No. Max 70 volts, plus the cover is not sufficient for AC safety.
Is it max 70V because of true physical limit / the material & metallurgy of the busbar or because the manufacturer built it for the battery busbar service? Also, what is the difference between the cover and the covers of common breaker boxes that have plastic covers in 230V AC service? Is it in tested insulation resistance or arc resistance?
