Hi guys
We’re day 1 into our 7000km trip from Oman to Europe and it seems that the dc to dc charger isn’t putting anything into the batteries. I’ve 530ah of Lithium (blue carbon). Connections are all good and there’s power and BT connectivity to the Orion dc-dc… using the smart lithium preset… have I missed anything wrt setting it up with the Cerbo? Pics of what’s happening now attached..
The Orions don't talk to Cerbo.
Battery charge looks to match solar plus loads.
How is the Orion connected? Could be that it's bypassing the shunt. If there's a battery earth that bypasses the shunt, this will be the case.

The ground is connected to the negative on the BMV 700 shunt and the ‘out’ is to the positive bus bar.. the only other negative on the BMV is from the battery bank
This may be wrong and happy to be corrected. But it may also be because we’re been in 40 degrees Celsius for the last few days which is really affecting the whole system (despite our best efforts to ventilate and cool with aircon )
Couple of things to check with Victron connect
Main screen on the Orions should show whether it's working or not
Orion settings, for battery and engine detection.
Mppt settings.
Orion, MPPT, and multiplus should all have the same battery settings, otherwise they can stop others charging.
Assuming the checks with Victron connect are OK, check wiring. If the negative from the Orion is able to bypass the shunt, its current won't register.
