My pre alarm on my VEBus V2 is outputting 12v when all seems well and working. As described in the smart lithium battery manual I have disconnected the 3 pin wires from the battery and looped them with an extension to fool the bms into thinking a battery is connected and the 12v prealarm goes. The manual indicates the problem is in the battery.
Will I need to replace the internal board and if so where would I get one from?
All the info from the battery via Bluetooth on the Victron Connect looks OK, no high cells all balanced and temps at 24 deg. The system has only just been installed in the van and not used in anger yet as it's still being converted. Everything is victron and setup for smart lithium and all firmware is upto date. Only had a couple of charges with no apparent issues.
Battery is a 300ah smart lithium.
Any ideas or info would be appreciated
Kind regards
Barry
