I have recently completed a set up in a barn with 2x multiplus 5kva inverters 5x pylontec us 5000 batteries and 450/200 mppt.I additionally have a 15kva generator at the barn. I have now laid 240m of sized cable between the barn and my main house to essentially go offgrid. I want to see a winter through before turning off the grid connection and was looking at installing a 10kva ve transfer at the house end with the primary input being my own offgrid and the grid as secondary. Is it possible to use this unit standalone or does it require connection with my inverter at the barn end.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
