One of the pins in the VE.Direct port of my BlueSolar 75/15 device got bent and subsequently broke off and is missing, so I can no longer connect my Bluetooth dongle.
Can the port be repaired? If so, is it worth it, or will it be cheaper to buy a replacement device, or even a SmartSolar 75/15?
I do not know how much you pay for it, but in Estonia the BlueSolar MPPT 75/15 cost only 106€ plus 68€ for the Bluetooth Dongle.
Repairing a 106€ device my already with shipping costs.
The SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 cost only 165€.
Since the housing is sealed, you need a huge experience to repair it yourself (yes it can be done) but the time you need to get it done is it not worth.
