Smart shunt monitoring on MFD

I have a 500A smart shunt and want to monitor the statistics on my Raymarine Axiom MFD. I know it can be done if I install a cerbo gx, but its over kill as all I want to do is vew teh smart shunt data. Is there a less expensive solution to see smart shunt data on an MFD ( NMEA2000 )?

Rpi seems to be a solution, but not that much less expensive these days with the needed adapters
