Greetings from Southern California !!
Requesting some clarification about Victron Battery Chargers.
In advance of a Multiplus inverter / charger - I'm considering a configuration for 12V only...
I'm in possession of (2) 160AH Victron batteries, a VE.Bus BMS, and an Orion-Tr Smart 12/12 30 isolated DC/DC Charger.
I've discovered the IP22, IP43, and IP67. From what I can decipher - only the IP43 has remote on/off such that it'd integrate with the VE.Bus BMS to stop charging in the event of individual cell issues. Is this correct ??
And / Or - can I hook up a (Progressive Dynamics PD60) charger/converter to the input side of the DC/DC charger and expect the Orion-Tr Smart REMOTE connectors to integrate with the VE.Bus BMS for (individual cell) battery protection.
Thank you for all of the expertise shared here.
