The 1959 looks like the old/small processor, not the new one. The latest in the xxx1xx series is 1959159, that supports the virtual switch. The xxx2xx version doesn't.
If you have a new processor (2659xxx) you should update to 2549459 which supports both assistants and virtual switch.
What does the sticker on the chip in the multiplus say?
Hi Marc
Sticker on the PIC is as posted. 1959143.VFD
Large processor, not the Slimline.
Thank you for the feedback.
This is a hardware change so its not posable using firmware
Here is a photo of the Unit's ser no. Don't have a photo of the processor I'm afraid. There are three 5kVA Multiplus's configured for 3-Phase and they are the old type with connector blocks for AC-IN and AC-OUT, not the newer stud type.
to be sure of the processor version take the 4 screws out of the panel that has the on/off/charge switch in it and the proccessor is top left 1/4 of the circuit board, this will clarify what version you have
Hi Paul
Thank you for the feedback.
The PIC has a sticker on it that reads 1959143.VFD
When checking the Firmware files on the Victron Professional page, there are no 1959 versions available for the large processor and there is only for the Smaller processor.
The Version for Small Processor with assistants is 1959209.VFF
Not sure if this will work, hence why I am in need of the 1959143.VFD should I need to roll the firmware back to the orignal version.
Thanks
