How do I find VRM portal ID on my SmartSolar charge controller MMPT?

I can't find the VRM portal ID to connect my device. I don't see the ID on my device or the box. I went to the settings in the latest version of the VictronEnergy app, but it doesn't show the portal ID.

Only GX devices have a VRM portal ID.


If you have a GX and VRM established, you need only connect the MPPT to the GX, and it will show on your VRM.

Is there another way I can connect my SmartSolar charge controller to the VictronConnect app? Do I have to buy a GX device for that connection?

I can't figure out how to do that; I don't see it in the app. My phone's Bluetooth is also on. Is there a way to turn it on the device or something?
