Hello.
I am installing a Phoenix 1200w, and had planned on using a Renogy 100ah lithium battery.
The Phoenix manual states minimum battery capacity of 150ah. This is obviously to cover the draw current of the Phoenix.
The battery states max continuous discharger of 100A.
Considering the continuous power of the inverter is stated to be 1000W, from my calculations the draw current should NOT exceed the 100A max discharge of the battery.. EXCEPT on peak power (stated at 2200 from the inverter)
Cont Power - 1000w/12/91 = 91.2A
Peak Power - 2200/12/91 = 201A
Could the battery handle the occasional peak power surge? (how often does the inverter hit peak power?)
I will rarely be running the inverter at max capacity so would that keep it well under 100A of continuous draw. Would this be okay?
If anyone could share some guidance/ point out anything I'm missing would be much appreciated
Thanks
