Hi All

Does anyone know why on some of our installs, we don't get the "generator state" option from the widgets?

I am not sure what you are installing, but here is a thought. On the Cerbo GX:

Settings->System Setup->AC Input 2. If this says "unavailable", there is no widget. If it says "generator", then there is a widget. AC Input 2 input is configurable.
