Dear Victron Community, dear @mvader (Victron Energy)! We are developing Energy Storage Solutions based on VE elements. Now we are facing with an issue, according to the followings:
We are using ESS external mode (mode3) 3 phase, parallel inverters (MultiPlus II, Quattro), with our own node red based software to controll the operation. We have found that in register 37, 40, 41 (ESS power setpoint) the maximum value of the range due to the 16 bit is 32767. Which seems to be too low in the case of our bigger systems. We know that in mode2, with register 2703 we would have the possibility to use values with a 0,1 scale factor, but we need to stay in mode3. Unfortunately in mode3 it is not possible (at least according to the register list) to use values with a 0,1 scale factor.
Can someone please explain or help us to be explained why is it not possible to use 0,1 scale factor in mode3?
Do any of you think that there is a working possibility to somehow change the scale factor of register 37, 40, 41? Or to increase the input power above 32767?
Do any of you have any idea what can work in our case?
I would very highly appreciate If you could help us out somehow.
