Hi, I am looking to connect a blue solar mppt with an esp32 via the serial connection. I have an octocoupler for this. The Mppt is on my boat and I can't test. I know that the masses are important without isolating via a usb-rs232. It didn't work without connecting the ground. Is it good like this? Or should the two masses be connected?
