Smart Lithium Batteries, Ve.Bus BMS and 3rd party batteries/BMS

Hi,

just wondering if anyone has successfully integrated a 3rd party battery/BMS system into an existing Smart Lithium/Ve.Bus BMS system?

Basically looking to extend my battery bank with some DiY batteries and would like to retain all the BMS infrastructure I have already (ve.bus bms, smart battery protects etc.)

I presume the Smart Lithium Batteries just output either "do not charge" or "do not discharge" into the ve.bus bms.

anyone have the details?
