PV and MPPT spec for 48v PylonTech and 48/70/3000 multi

I could do with some help spec’s a PV array (make and model etc) and the MPPT (Victron) to charge my 25kwh of PylonTech batteries. Got about 25sqM of flat garage roof (5m x 5m). Thanks in advance.

Roof dimensions are important as panel dimensions affect alot.

I’ve changed the roof dims to say it’s 5m x 5m.

For example the Longi LR5-54HIB-405w I have are almost exactly 2 sq m so if the dimensions suited your roof you could get 12 of those on it for a total power of 4860W. They produce ~13A at 31V so wired as 3 strings of 4 the calculator here suggests a 250/85 MPPT which sounds about right (though for 2 x 6 it recommends a 250/70 which is a bit small).

Much will depend on the exact dimensions of your roof and what your chosen installer prefers to fit/can get hold of.
