Old SMA Inverter only Modbus RTU Converter not working

Hello,


I have a SMA STP TRipower 5000TL only with RS485. Now I Orderd a converter but i´m not able to get in contact from my Vitron GX. Scan got no results.

The Facts:

Converter: USR-TCP485/232-410 s

Multiplus IP: 192.168.178.30

Modbus TCP Running


I post a screenshot of the GX Details and the Config Page of the Converter. Can somone help what I configured wrong? Or ist the Converter not possible at the end.


What i want to see is the SMA as PV INterter in the Dashbord with his PV production.

Hello @jojogomez,


these inverters don’t 'speak’ modbus.

You have to work with 'YASDI’.
