MPPT 100/30 won’t charge batteries.

Hey,

Having issues where my MPPT charger won’t let charge through to charge my batteries. Polarities are correct, fuses are good, getting 36v on my solar at the panel and MPPT charger. Plenty/ enough sunlight. Just won’t show the watts and let the charge through.

Any help is appreciated!

By fuses you mean you also checked the one embedded in the mppt?

Are there other components in your system?

is there ones inside? I’ll have to check.. It was working this morning but only letting 15w through.. and it was also doing the same thing previously not letting any through.

Is there any way to fully reset it? Or just taking solar and battery cables out?

I’ll check inside the MPPT tho!!

EDIT. Giving you a bad steer, this smaller mppt does not have the auto style fuse like the larger types, there is an internal one and isn't serviceable. If it has died it has to be RMA'd.

Drop pv and battery supply to reset it.
