Hi There,
Is there anyone here which had a Cerbo GX failed on the 48V system with the capacitor fitted as per Victron recommendation???
I'm just wondering how reliable this "fix" is? Will I have to replace the capacitor every few years? My system is at around 53V most of the time, so maybe it will be better to use step-down converter to 24V? I want to avoid the stress when I will have to disconnect and reconnect the Cerbo.
This "fix" is more like a bodge to me, to be honest. I've bought Cerbo last week and it is HQ2219... and was so disappointed that Victron is still selling this dodgy units.
