I just installed a Victron MultiPlus II 3000 and now looking to install a Victron 200/200A GX Digital Multi Control GX. My old Xantrex system used a 4 wire telephone style wire from the Inverter to the Display Panel. I'm aware that you can use 4 wire for Ethernet Connections. I would like to remove the old RJ11 connectors and install RJ45 connectors. My question. Can I use the standard ethernet connection for this installation (Using Pins 1,2,3 and 6 in the RJ45 connector). Or does this use different wires. If possible I'd rather not snake a new cable from the back of the RV all the way up to the Panel above the windshield if the existing wiring can be used. . Any help would be appreciated.
