Activating EV charging station

Hello!


I can’t find any information about how I configure a password/PIN to activate charging.

I haven’t seen anything about RFID either.

The issue being that the charger is open for anyone to use as they please.

Hi, make sure you are running the latest firmware version on the device, then in settings menu, disable both autostart and screen control. By doing this, charging can be started only from the webpage or gx device or vrm and soon Victron Connect app over Bluetooth.

Is there a more traditional way (eg RFID) in the works for the future?

We decided not to have rfid, usualy there is a phone in our pocket that can be used for situations like this.

We are planning to add NFC on the new PCB design, but that's probably for q3-q4 2023
