In a configuration of 8 OPZS 6V battery packs, would it be consistent to place battery balancers between each pair of packs?

OPZS and battery balancer
8 pack of 6v in serial, idea was to connect balancer between packs with 12V diff:
6V---6V---6V---6V---6V---6V---6V---6V

Each balancer work on 24V in this case
