Charge Controller MPPT-150-70 Algorithm USER setting

I’m using a BlueSolar Charge Controller MPPT-150-70. A few months ago I upgraded the software version to 2.05 (from 2.00). The charge algorithm has always been set to ‘USER’, and I have always set the absorption time to 2 hours (flooded lead acid batteries). Since the software upgrade the absorption time varies and it seems the algorithm is adaptive rather than fixed because it is not observing the pre-set absorption time, even though I have selected ‘USER’ and reset the absorption time to 2 hours. Can anyone suggest a possible cause and solution please?

Hi, There has just been a release of a new firmware version 1.41 ,its got a lot of fixes arond these areas of operation.

Please upgrade and see if this helps

2.05 is the latest listed version for the VE.Can models. How that fits in the scheme of things I have no idea.

Thanks for your comments. I'm running the v2.05 firmware and suspect this may be the issue. Where can I obtain an earlier version, say v2.00?
