Just bought a mppt 100/20 and was sold the optional display smartsolar meter. It has an plug connection like rs232 or vga style connection. I can see guides for plugging it direct into other mppt controllers. Can i wire it to the 100/20 or have i been miss sold it?
I'm afraid that display is not for that controller, you have been mis sold it. It's for the larger controllers which have a space for it on the front via a removable panel.
