Victron BMV Bluetooth dongle blue light blinking, but seems to be working

Peculiar event. Smelled an electrical smell after briefly using inverter for TV. Inverter had been turned off. Smell dissipated. Noticed blue light of Bluetooth dongle blinking slowly but was bedtime. Next AM saw that SOC% read zero, though voltage reading - 13.4 - and solar charging amps registered. I synced the BMV 702 and the BMV went to 100%. Blue led of dongle still blinking slowly, which in manual indicates “not connected.” Ideas ?

please up date your victron connect app it should be 5.9 I think.

if need be uninstall it and reinstall the app

then make sure the BMV and the bluetooth dongle are on the latest versions.


Dont like the sound of that smell you had
