How to change the sign for a DC Power from + to - on a system with DC user and DC charging .

Should be negative value because 51W is usage.

This value becomes negative when the Orion charger is on.

Afraid not. When something is consuming power it will record a positive reading. When it is supplying power (like the batteries) it will be a negative.

You can't consume negative amps..

That your DC device is charging something is not considered as it is a load on the ESS system and consuming power to charge.

Hi Robert,

If using a BMV or smartshunt to monitor battery SOC (that should be) may be you have to check the shunt polarity wiring (battery only terminal should be the only wire connected to negative battery terminal)

May be in the Battery Measurements menu you can set up the shunt polarity to count positvely the charge and negatively discharge.

It ie possible that there's other configuration menu to proceed.
