I have the old style Blue Solar MPPT , the one with a small screen and 4 buttons on the front . I cant understand the Absorption , Manufacturer says absorption time should be 5 hours so to achieve this I set the MPPT for 15 hours . Voltage prior to it charging is between 24.4 and 25.7 every mornings so it should stay ion absorption for 1/3 of 15 hours which would be 5 hours , 300 mins . Sometimes it stays in absorption for exactly 300 mins to the minutes other times its longer , yesterday 446 mins . I know if the tail current gets down to 2 amps it will end sooner but no explanation foe it going on for longer other than if a heavy load is used which there never is , i have compared the days that its correct at 300 mins and the days its longer and i cant see anything to explain the additional time . I only have a Solar Array , no other input . Is there anything i can do .
