Are the BMV shunt and circuit board interchangeable with the 712?

I am replacing a 600s with a 712 and have a shunt and circuit board already installed on a battery bank. I have tried to unplug the 600 and introduce the 712, but have nothing. Should they be interchangeable? If not can I simply change out the circuit board?

They are not interchangeable, but you can replace just the circuit board yes.
