OK, maybe this question is a bit too nit-picking, but when crimping ferrules, should we use hex or rectangular crimp style? Hey, sometimes little details matter!

Ferrule Crimp Type
The square crimp will potentially give you far better contact with connections such as on an MPPT. Look at the connection that the crimped ferrule will be inserted into...and crimp accordingly.
