maximum wire gauge for the Phoenix 12/1200?

Hi everybody,


the Phoenix's manual recommends a wire gauge of 35mm2 / AWG2 for the connections to the battery, any way when I calculate the needed gauge for my 2,5m cable I should use a 50mm2 / AWG1 cable, but does that fit into the 12/1200 terminals?

I would say the recommends a wire gauge of 35mm2 / AWG2 is the maximum you can fit .
