Can someone advise if I am considering the correct cable size and fusing for my set up please.
I have:
3X160W solar
Lynx distributor
Smart shunt
MPPT 100/50
Orion 12 12 30
Multiplus 12v 1600
2X 100aH lifepo4 in parallel
Can you help with cable selection and fuse ratings..
1) battery links then to shunt - / ANL fuse+ / sw and lynx D <2m total
70mm2 or 50mm2 - 300A ANL or ... fuse
2) lynx D to multiplus <1m
70mm or 50mm - mega fuse size ?
3) lynx to 12v fuse box <3m
16mm2 100A mega fuse
4) lynx to Orion 12 12 30 and to Engine battery <7m
16mm2 or 25mm2 60A mega fuse
5) Solar panels to mppt to lynx < 5m
6mm2 mega fuse ?
I don’t want to over do the cable size but I want it to be right.
The inverter may be in constant use for the 3 way fridge when not using gas - otherwise intermittent use for charging drones or microwave etc
It is a 28 year old Hymer so when it was original it would have only been and EB and LB via a relay for charging when driving and not a great deal of load. This relay will be bypassed when using the Orion.
