Hi all, dear Victron community, could you please help me settings up auto start/stop my Honda EM6500SX generator from Cerbo GX. Do I need to buy a remote kit:(something like this https://www.ebay.ca/itm/225195933610?var=524126965788)
or just the Remote Start Control Connector Kit and run the wires to Cerbo GX:
I also attached the generator manual and wiring diagram (it is too complicated for me)

The GX device provides only a relay closure: closed to run, open to stop.
Honda generators require two signals: a constant closure while the generator is running and a delayed start pulse. The run/start closure turns power on to the generator. The start pulse initiates a start sequence. The pulse needs to be delayed a couple of seconds after closing the run/start contacts and should last about 1 second.
It looks like the control box you referenced will do all this for you. That box has a connector that will accept the run closure from the GX device. It is a direct connection between the GX device relay output and the input to the control box.
Could you please tell me where I can configure the "start pulse" and other Cerbo GX settings required for this setup. I looked in VictronConnect app and I don't see any settings, just the Nerwork and device name. I don't see it in VRM either.

The "start pulse" is something you would need to generate with circuitry external to Cerbo. I believe the box you referenced in the original post will do this.
Cerbo has an extensive generator control system that can automatically control the generator based on many different parameters.
