VICTRON temperature compensation graph

Hallo, I can't understand the temperature compensation graph in vicyron Mppt manual.

screenshot-2022-10-15-11-45-05-427-comgoogleandroi.jpgImage Caption

I understand why at above or below certain temperature it stops the compensation.

But I don't understand why between 50.and 60 C, it totally stop the charging, and then it resume the charging without compensation above 60 C!!

At the same way I don't understand why below -30C, it not only block the compensation, but it eliminates the compensation and charge at 25C voltage.

It's a very strange settings.

I now some Mppt controller permit to set 2 limit voltages for compensation. So , simply above and below certain temperatures, they stop the increase and decrease of voltage.

Thanks you

temperature compensation

Victron Community is the worst tech-assistance service ever seen in my life....

A amateur-forum like official tech-assistance????

A worldwide company, moreover, also expensive.

Many cheaper China company have a much better official tech-assistance. With official mail-reply by engineers employees.

@Fra did you ever figure out why Victron MPPTs do this? I'm having the same issue and it's causing the vehicle mounted lead-acid battery to be severely drained during the day. By the time the battery temp decreases to below 48C, there may not be enough sunlight left to fully charge the battery.
