After finding out by chance about the (pretty serious) problem with the faulty Cerbos and the relative Victron announcement (see here) I was wondering if there is some place here on the community's site or on the main victron site where all these announcements are made. Because if I hadn't seen this video (again pretty much by chance) my Cerbo could have died...
Your supplier should know the affected serial numbers and should have informed you if it was one that had the issue. Or if they were halfway decent would have sent the fix with the Cerbo.
From the documents you will see is is HQ2201 to HQ2220. A supply chain related issue.
If you did plug it in and it died, it would have been replaced.
If your serial number is not one of those from that range, there is nothing to worry about.
