hi all, going to end up with 4 litium ion batteries in 2s2p setup all batteries will be 12volt 100amp
but as in series will be a 24volt setup

It sounds like the 500 amp Smart Shunt will do the job nicely. You may also consider installing the BMV712 battery monitor so that you have a readout of the battery situation intstead of always using the app on your phone. The BMV712 has a programmable relay output and an audible alarm but maybe you dont need that. Either of them connect to other equipment if you expand your system for some reason in the future.
