Does the Multi RS solar work without AC-input?

I would only connect the AC-Out1 output and not the AC-Out2 or AC-In. I guess this would work, can anybody confirm? Thank you

I use my MultiRS with AC-OUT1 99% of the time.
On the odd occasion I'll use AC-IN to charge from the network if I had a bad day.
