Have a American heritage coach with a leese neville 275 amp alternator.Am installing 3- 300 amp hour lithium batteries replacing 10 -100 amp hour agm batteries.I know i need a unit to control the alternator from damage.So far have been told by most manufactures they have no unit big enough for this alternator.
Victron don't, afik, have an alternator control product. They do have Orion DC:DC chargers, these can be connected in parallel to get the desired output current. This will limit battery charge rate and thus alternator load. But might not be appropriate for your installation.
Hello, did your alternator have an in- or external regulator?
12 or 24V
