Hardware information required.
I understand, the BP is a intelligent FET switch, basically a uniderictional SSR, right? Does it has a reverse bypass diode inside, so the charge current would pass without to be interrupted and also to protect the FETs on reverse polarity, or does it act as a diode and block reverse current (until it breaks).
Any insights of what reverse currents are acceptable (ratings of the bypass) or not (break-through voltage difference) would be appreciated. Nothing found in the datasheet about the limitations except the asterisk note, it is unidirectional. As an Engineer quite frustrating not knowing the exact function and the limits.
Can two BP be connected anti-parallel to each other interrupting a line and controlling charge and discharge direction separately (would work if there is no bypass diode inside and if they effectively block reverse currents without getting damaged)?
Thanks a lot
