powering the multiplus with the grid

Can the multiplus (or the multiplus II or the quattro) be powered by the grid from AC-in?

For example, let's say I have a flat VRLA battery and I want to charge it. Can a multiplus use the grid to turn on and then charge the battery?

Or say I want to configure the multiplus without having a battery connected. Can it be turned on by using the grid?

Yes to charging a flat battery via AC-in.

On off-grid systems this is imperative to operation as the system can be restored via a genset.


No to using the unit without a battery.
