MPPT RS 450/100 has mind of its own. Not using all available solar

I am having trouble getting the max charge current out of the RS 450/100. It’s set to 100A but it seems to be deciding the charge current on its own even though there is solar power not being harvested. I know this because when I flip the breaker on one of the solar strings the other one picks up the slack to produce more wattage.

I have 1200 AH of 48V lithium storage and its having this issue even with the battery at 40%.

I believe I solved this issue. The negatives of the solar strings were combined in the previous design. I left it like this which was likely confusing the Victron MPPT. After separating the string negatives, they are now producing full power.

What happens if you put a big load in the inverter?

Also, are you using ESS? In that case, did you set the charging voltages in the inverter?

DVCC enabled? What settings you have there?
What is your battery monitor?

Assuming you have an inverter and a GX device.

The loads were more than the controller was putting out in those screenshots (e.g. there was current draw from the batteries).

Not using ESS or DVCC, both are disabled in the cerbo gx. This is an off grid setup.

Battery monitor is 1000A SmartShunt

Inverters are not Victron
