Multiplus 2 w/ Bluetooth (Model 2022). VE.direct not working with pl2303

Today I received my victron Multiplus as well as a pl2303 UART to USB converter.

I connected the 3 pins needed (GND; TX; RX) to ve.direct and the pl2303 to my raspberry pi venusOS.

But I only receive the following message:

[ 309.574672] pl2303 ttyUSB0: pl2303_get_line_request - failed: -32
[ 312.678933] pl2303 ttyUSB0: error sending break = -32

In a YT tutorial from Australia someone has connected it with pl2303 to Cerbo GX or Venus GX.

Did Victron change anything on ve.direct? The new Multiplus II has bluetooth with a NanoPi builtin - which is working without a problem).

Is your serial port using these settings?

Baud rate: 19200
Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1
Flow control: None

Thanks for mentioning that. I have tried another USB to TTL adapter (FTDI Adapter USB auf TTL Serial Adapter FT232RL Chip Arduino 3,3V 5V) but is not working either.

On every tutorial I read or see they plug the adapter into the raspberry pi and it get recognized.

I see on the new adapter that TX led is flashing and with stty -F /dev/ttyACM0 I see it loops throught every possible baud rate. But no luck. Changed TX and RX, no luck.
