ve direct bluetooth on old BlueSolar MPPT 150/70

Hi guys..

I am thinking whether to get the USB cable or the Bluetooth adapter for CONFIGURING primarly the BlueSolar MPPT 150/70 (bought in 2013 but in box till now!!)

I wonder why the * in the compatibility list..

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

I would use the USB cable unless you need the wireless access.....

As said, this was sitting packaged in the garage since August 2013!

Therefore, it turns out to be of the first BlueSolar MPPT 150/70 models and if I understand correctly it does not have VE.Direct at all! It has two RJ45 which if I understand correctly is CAN bus and this cable costs like 450 euros!!!


So I wanted to upgrade the firmware,to enable Hub-1 functionality but looks like not going to happen.. :(
