GERBO GX digital inputs for burglar/door alarm.

Good day

I would like to use the digital inputs for a burglar/door alarm. I would like to use a vibration sensor for the alarm contact. The relay on this sensor is not latching. It is a pulse relay that resets automatically after about one second.

Will this work to see a alarm trigger on the VRM portal? Or must the sensor used as the alarm contact be latching?

Yes, the alarm contact should be latching to maintain an alarm state.
The inputs are not latching and the alarm state will clear as soon as the contact returns to a normal position.
