What should "charged voltage" be on a lifeo4 battery .

Hi , Should the "charged voltage" be higher than the float , lower than the float , or near to the absorption voltage ?.

It's been set to just below the float voltage 13.4v until now , but I've just found a problem with this !!!!

Sun comes out and the voltage raises to 13.7v , now it starts to rain, black clouds so the current drops and it syncs at 87% charge .

So should the "charged voltage be near absorption voltage ? , or just hope it doesn't rain while charging ?

Try setting the "Charged voltage" in your SmartShunt settings to 0.1V less than the Absorption voltage you have set in the MPPT and/or inverter/charger.

"Charged detection time" and "tail current" values are also important.

There is no perfect setting for all weather (clear, some clouds, etc.).
