Hi All
I have a problem getting my 6 Pylontech batteries to show up when connected to a Cerbo GX.
The batteries are a mixture as follows:
- 2 x US2000C
- 4 x US2000
These are all linked together via the link ports as per Pylontech manual (link port 1 on first battery going to link port 0 on second etc), and I believe this is correct as I have used the same array previously on another inverter.
The batteries are connected to the BMS-Can port of a Cerbo GX using a VE.Can to CAN-bus BMS type A cable, and to the CAN port of the master battery.
After connecting the batteries and booting up the Cerbo for the first time, the Pylontech battery device was recognised straight away - looking promising:
However the Cerbo only shows 5 batteries are connected, not 6:
In addition the installed capacity shows as 250Ah, but I'd expect it to be 300Ah (6 x 50). Charge limits seem to be similarly reduced. It's like the 6th battery is simply not being detected?
When I look at the batteries themselves they are all getting charged/discharged together and are staying balanced.
Things I have tried...
- Removing each battery individually from the array. This did not make a difference. As soon as any of the batteries are removed, the Cerbo reports that there are now only 4! And removing 2 batteries then shows that only 3 are connected etc.
- Reordered the batteries so the two US2000C are not together - e.g. US2000C > US2000 > US2000 > US2000C > US2000 > US2000. This failed to start up so I put the two US2000C back in front.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but if anyone can help or I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Sam
