is there a native linux version of VE configure availiable or a kind of command line tool to do so?
do we still have to use the workaround with wine?
im not too happy with installing Wine just for the victron tool.

Yes, VictronConnect is available as an AppImage. You can download it from the VictronConnect download page:
https://www.victronenergy.com/support-and-downloads/software#victronconnect-app
So, you can do MultiPlus configuration with that.
If you do need to do more advanced configuration, then you do still need VE.Configure for now. Alas, you'll have to run this in Wine or in a VM. I use a VM.
at the moment i use the victronconnect on a tablet. i will check what configuration can be done with the bluetooth app on a multiplus. i guess i will have to go deeper to adjust the programmable relais
Additional resources still need to be added for this topic
