I currently have a 50amp shore inlet, and my onan 7000w generator hooked into a furrion 50amp automatic transfer switch, which feeds into my distribution panel. I'm installing full solar array with a victron multiplus II 3000/12V inverter charger , which i know has a built in transfer switch, but how do I wire everything so that I can still transfer between shore power and generator power as well? Will I have to delete the transfer switch i have, or can I incorporate it into the system? I can also switch out my shore power inlet from a 50amp down to 30amp inlet, since we really don't have demand for 50amp, 30amp will fulfill our power needs.
