I am completely off grid, my question is can I connect a wind turbine to my quattro as an utility?
I would say probably not on the AC side of things. Voltage and frequency produced by the turbine need to be within an acceptable window and stable. The power output of the turbine will probably also vary with wind speed and the Quattro expects a fixed amount of power at it's input (set by the input current limit).
Some have reported using a DC turbine feeding an MPPT controller which then connects to the battery. The one issue is preventing the turbine from excessive speed. This may require a "dump load", etc.
