Temperature sensor error

I keep getting a Temperature sense error alarm, can I just disconnect it from my quattro?

Yes as long as you do not need temperature compensated charging, for instance if you have lead acid batteries.

But if it is a problem then disconnect anyway as if it is not working then there is no point to having it there.
